I want to know all about you and your wishes. In the months before your wedding day I hope you will view me
as part of your new extended family
who will support you with kindness
My husband Larry and I have been married for 41 years at this writing. We moved to South Carolina after spending 11 years living and cruising on a 41ft sailboat. We loved the adventure and most of all the people we met along the way. When it came time to get back on land we chose the Low Country for home.
I love acting and singing and will take every opportunity to get on stage
I have been ordained for several years and look forward to many more. Nothing makes me happier than saying "I Now Pronounce You".
I am a member and Lay Servant at Goose Creek United Methodist Church, sing in the choir and volunteer any way I can.
I will walk you through your perfect wedding day so that your thoughts need be only of each other. From our first meeting to the moment you become truly united, your every desire will be met. I pledge to honor my obligation to you with the utmost care and conviction.
Folly Beach Wedding Review
I would not change a thing. Most pleasant time from rehearsal to wedding day, everything was just perfect.
Thank you, Shanna and Mike

Please let me introduce you to my dear friend Jo Davis Melton. Jo and I met at church and it was instant friendship. She is such a lovely, caring person. When I told her that I was a wedding officiant she was thrilled. She indicated that it was something she would love to do so I made the offer to have her come and join me. It’s going to be a terrific partnership.
Jo is going to start out backing me up and offering her services to couples who would like to get married on dates when I am not available and, heaven forbid, if for some reason I cannot fulfill my obligation due to accident or illness.
Jo was born in Illinois and she and David raised their family there. They have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. They vacationed in Charleston/Folly beach area for almost 30 years and decided it would be a great place to retire.
She left the University of Illinois after 30 years as a Procedures and Systems Analyst and moved to Goose Creek, with her hubby, in 2006. They still keep a home in Illinois to stay close with the kids.
Jo says “My background is Methodist based with many years and hours spent enriching my spiritual foundation. I am a certified lay servant and lay speaker”. Jo is a licensed Chaplain with their certifications for counseling and the privileges granted to Chaplains.
She loves music and has played the flute for more than 50 years. “ and plays AT the piano”.
Jo is also a two-time breast cancer survivor. Thank God
One Gal and a Wedding is now Plus One!
That would have to be the day my grand-daughter ask me to marry her to the love of her life. I was so thrilled and had to hold back the tears as I looked into her beautiful face during the ceremony. I am blessed.
